Sherry Spencer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 15 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities.  Sherry completed her undergraduate work at the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.  She then went on to earn her Master of Arts degree in Human Services Psychology, with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis, from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.

While attending graduate school, Sherry received her clinical training working on the Inpatient Neuro-Behavioral Unit at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, assessing and treating children with severe behavior disorders.  Following her graduate training, she moved to the San Francisco Bay area and began working as a Consultant for a Non-Public Agency.

For the past 12 years, Sherry’s clinical work has been primarily focused on early intervention programming for children on the autism spectrum.  Her passion lies in remediating language deficits, and the associated behavioral changes that occur once a child is more readily able to participate in his or her world.   She places great value in teaching functional skills that will have the greatest overall impact on children and their families.
